Teun van Berkel

Started studying Electrical engineering at the University of Technology in Eindhoven in 2000 and completed it in 2006. After his study he worked as an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer at Prodrive BV for four years. In 2010 he switched to AOMB, where he now works as a Dutch and European patent attorney. Teun specialises in the technical areas electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunication.

According to Teun, not just every day, but even every hour in the office is different from the last. He says this is due to the mix of different disciplines (technology, commerce, language, legal) which are all combined in the profession of Patent attorney. Teun is one of the few experts at AOMB with a genuine die-hard electro-background. Colleagues as well as SME-entrepreneurs therefore often appeal to him for software issues.

His accessibility and common sense characterise him as an advisor and colleague. SME-entrepreneurs value him for his no-nonsense attitude.

Teun likes to spend his spare time with his wife and children and furthermore he is a great tennis and football fan.
