Suitable drawings use clear, consistent lines and show the invention or its relevant components from an easily recognizable perspective.
Drawings with unclear, broken or overly faint lines are less suitable. Details may be lost, and components of the invention may be interpreted incorrectly.

The drawings you provide serve as the basis for preparing formal patent drawings. These are produced in accordance with the formal requirements of the patent office where the application will be filed.
A professional draftsperson can prepare the drawings for you, based on photographs or sketches that you provide.
