As a legal counsel I had a privilege to start my work at Polish Research Institute in Poland, the breeder of fruit and vegetable crops. I advised on licensing in Poland and outside Poland. By assisting breeders in commercialization of their plant varieties and enforcing their rights in Poland.

At this time – it was still new in Poland. Growers, even nurseries didn’t know that plant varieties can be protected by plant breeders rights. Later new clients came – both Polish and foreign breeders and I could develop my legal practice in Poland. Thanks to one of my clients I moved to the Netherlands and I could further develop myself in legal advisory on licensing, enforcement and business aspects in fruit sector in global manner.
