Studied Law & Management at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, where she developed an interest in the IP field thanks to the lectures of an enthusiastic professor. Her passion for IP law further bloomed in Rome, where she went with the Erasmus programme. It really made clear for Floor how diverse and international the IP field actually is, which suits her perfectly!
Floor was delighted when in 2017 she was able to start as Trademark Attorney in training at AOMB Intellectual Property.
The IP sector is interesting to her because it brings you into contact with many creative people and inspirational innovations. Floor gets satisfaction from being able to help people protect unique ideas, so they can continue to reap the rewards of their own successes. The diversity in entrepreneurs and innovations within the SME Business unit are a major upside for her.
Colleagues describe Floor as approachable, flexible and social. She has a great deal of empathy, which she wishes to use to filter out the needs of her clients and play into them as well as possible. She has a strong analytical bend and a lot of passion for her field. Her ambition is to grow into an independent trademark attorney within AOMB in the coming years.
Floor isn’t the type to sit still outside of working hours either, and loves sports: jogging, fitness or boot camp. She loves going for a drink and a bite to eat with friends, and her favourite holiday destination is Italy. She also likes to go to festivals and occasionally takes a weekend trip away.
