Ever since she was a child she’s had a strong preference for art and innovation. It’s only logical that during her law study at the University of Leiden, she chose intellectual property as a specialisation. After her study Daphne Kroese started working with AOMB as a plant breeder’s rights-consultant. After one year she made a switch to trademarks.
Daphne feels closely involved with her clients and is used to think along with them on both a legal and commercial level. As an advisor she characterises by dedication, enormous empathy and her admiration for innovation. Being allowed to protect what entrepreneurs put so much effort in is what she thinks makes the profession so great.
Daphne spends most of her spare time on art and culture. She likes to visit museums and theatres. She is also a swim fanatic.
